Kangaroo Stadium Renovations
Built more than 50 years ago, the beloved “Roo” Stadium was in need of expansion to meet the size of modern football crowds. Renovations brought increased seating capacity along with parking, concessions and administrative areas for support. Renovations also brought artificial turf. In addition, permanent inlaid lines for major sports eliminate the need for routine painting, and a uniform playing surface provides safety benefits and potentially reduced impact injuries to athletes. The concourse level maximizes storage space beneath the bleachers and provides storefront areas, including “Roo Wear-house,” for booster clubs to sell their wares.
