Tracy Loftin Named as VLK Architects' Senior Associate

Fort Worth, Texas­- VLK Architects proudly announces the appointment of Tracy Loftin CSI, CDT as Senior Associate. Celebrating over 30 years with VLK Architects, Tracy has led and is responsible for the firm’s project specifications along with scheduling and allocation of department resources. A proven expert in her field, she is known for her attention to detail which has allowed VLK to build a reputation for producing the highest quality construction documents, raising specifications’ standards industry-wide. With a high level of dedication to quality assurance and quality control, she works with VLK’s project architects and project designers to relay their vision, ensure clarity, and maintain thoroughness in all of our drawings. Tracy is also committed to research and is responsible for keeping the firm informed and proactive in their implementation of current practices.

To become a Senior Associate, individuals must be self-motivated and consistently demonstrate the initiative, talent, and commitment of assuming additional responsibilities and leadership roles. These individuals have pursued professional development, client relations and involvement in related professional organizations which add value to the firm, ultimately benefitting our clients. It is difficult to find a VLK project that Tracy Loftin has not had her hands on. She has been instrumental on VLK Architects’ flagship and award winning educational projects including Arlington ISD’s Dan Dipert Career and Technical Center, the Renovations of Allen High School in Allen ISD, Eagle Mountain- Saginaw ISD’s Hollenstein Career and Technology Center, and VLK’s first LEED project, Houston ISD’s Walnut Bend Elementary, as well as Condit Elementary and Energy Institute. She has also been instrumental on VLK Architects’ notable commercial projects such as the Baillargeon Penthouse Roof-Top Terrace, Steelhead Capital Management, and iProspect. She holds a Bachelor of Music from Northwestern University and has her CDT certification through the Construction Specifications Institute and serves as the Fort Worth Chapter’s board secretary. She is involved in the Arlington Master Chorale, a soprano who has sung throughout Europe. This summer, she will be singing at the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.
