VLK Architects Completes Phase III of Renovations at Allen High School

Allen, Texas – On August 15th, Allen ISD welcomed its high school students back for a new school year with a newly renovated campus. This summer, VLK Architects completed Phase III of a four phase addition and renovation project for Allen High School.

The main focus of this renovation phase was rebuilding the existing library to be a two-story library space. In addition to the added story, the library received new workrooms, offices, collaboration spaces, and small group huddle areas. A tiered learning environment was built off of the main stair, providing another seating option and collaborative environment. New art rooms and a new testing center for small and large group testing have also been added.

The area of renovations for Phase III totaled approximately 63,000 sf. Phase IV of the Allen High School renovations will begin soon and open in August 2019.
