McKalla Tract Site Development Concept

Austin, TX

This site plan conceptualizes a 24-acre city-owned track of land in northwest Austin  slated for redevelopment. Well served by MetroRail and near The Domain mixed-use campus, the McKalla Tract is a former brownfield industrial site that will serve as the location of the Austin FC stadium for professional soccer. This concept imagines a more densely utilized mixed-use district of office, retail and multifamily housing centered on a park space that connects to a new MetroRail Station. Comprising more than 2.4 million total square feet of development, the plan anticipates nearly 900,000 sf for multifamily, 1.3 million sf of office space, and more than 150,000 sf of retail.
