VLK supported the effort to successfully pass the district’s first bond election and commence the first new school to be built in more than a decade. The VLK | LAUNCH® stakeholder engagement process enabled students, teachers, and community members to lend a voice to the school’s design. At the heart of the school, a two-story media center conveys openness, transparency, and a permeating atmosphere of vibrant learning activity. It features grade-level collaboration spaces and opportunities for students to choose from a variety of learning environments. Future-focused, the school is designed to accommodate the district’s anticipated growth.
