Grubbs Infiniti was one of the first buildings constructed in the United States to carry the new Infiniti Image Program and is purportedly the largest Infiniti dealership in the world. The building contains over 80,000 sf for new and preowned sales, a service department, and parts warehouse. Built on 12 acres of property at DFW International Airport, the site is only 2,000 feet from a main runway, creating some unique challenges during construction. Elevated by a higher quality of finishes than most dealerships, we were able to maintain costs within range of comparable buildings with average finish levels. All lighting is LED and the service department and parts warehouse are both climate controlled.
"Our customers are wowed by this dealership. I get comments all the time that we don’t look or feel like a car dealership but more like an art gallery or a high-end hotel lobby. Other comments include how clean it is - which translates to the clean design and high-end finishes. In addition, guests tell me that it’s very comfortable and relaxing. Our architect, Jim Stephenson, was able to take the design elements required by Infiniti, along with our desires, and create a dealership like no other. As with all construction projects, there are usually things you wish you could have done differently. With this project, there isn’t a single thing I would change.”
