Grubbs Volvo

Grubbs Volvo was designed to follow the Scandinavian design principles of the Volvo Retail Experience program. The exterior includes transparent glazing to allow a window shopping effect, translucent glazing to be washed at night to make the building glow, and opaque glazing in the Volvo blue to stay true to the brand. The 34,000sf interior includes natural wood accents, cool grey tile & white walls to allow vehicles to be the main attraction. The interior also provides a living room style lounge to make the car buying process more enjoyable. The 9.6 acre site is one of four parcels on a 17.6 acre campus master-planned for the Grubbs family of dealerships. A 4,300sf carwash is included on the Volvo site that will be used by the neighboring Grubbs franchises.
