VLK Architects Recognized for Performance, Growth, Culture, and Design in 2019
Fort Worth, Texas – Earning numerous awards in 2019, VLK Architects was once again recognized among the top architecture firms in the State of Texas and the nation by the A/E/C industry and the business community. With five offices across Texas, Fort Worth, Dallas, Houston, Austin, and El Paso, VLK received honors for performance, growth, and firm culture by several organizations including Inc. Magazine, Architectural Record, and PSMJ Resources.
In 2019, VLK added more accolades for excellence in architectural design to their portfolio of awards, including an American Institute of Architecture Merit Award. Over the years, VLK’s projects have earned a total of 32 design awards from AIA and 78 design awards from TASA/TASB which includes being named a Caudill Class Finalist in 2018. VLK was the recipient of TASA/TASB’s 2017 Caudill award which is the top honor for K12 educational architecture in Texas.

For the 2019 report, VLK ranked 37 overall among the largest 150 participating U.S. architecture firms. VLK also ranked fifth (5) among 140 U.S. architecture firms for K-12 work in 2018. Data for the Giants 300 report is based on information supplied by participating architecture, engineering, and construction firms.
