Kenneth R. Hutchens

Principal
"It's our sense of responsibility to our clients, users and communities, that drives us to seek out answers to questions others don't ask, allowing us to create adaptable buildings which exceed expectations and contribute to the everyday experience of those that come in contact with the buildings we design."

As Principal of Creative, Ken is involved in the development of design principles and strategy, for both VLK and on an individual project level. For 28 years, he has successfully completed a wide variety of project types including K-12 educational, university projects, religious facilities, health care facilities, commercial projects and municipal facility projects. Ken firmly believes in a strong collaborative process and his work exhibits the ability to successfully translate client goals into innovative and thoughtful environments.
