Tarrant County College’s new state-of-the-art indoor firing range is a regional training site for police officers and other members of law enforcement and military to perform mandatory qualifications and training. The design serves critical objectives unique to this specialized facility, including ballistic protection, sound mitigation and user safety. TCC's Criminal Justice Training Center has historically graduated about 3,000 cadets a year. With the new range, the program is expected to double. The facility features 15 50-yard firing lanes, five ten-yard lanes, and a 40-seat classroom.
"We are both proud and excited to have this facility on the Northwest Campus. It continues to highlight the amazing partnerships that TCCD has with the local businesses and county agencies that all played a significant role in the planning, development and construction of the firing range,”Dr. Elva LeBlanc President, TCCD Northwest Campus
