VLK Architects Announces New Principal
Houston, TX – VLK Architects announces Christopher Laack, AIA, NCARB, as its newest Principal in the Houston office. In his role, Laack will be responsible for business development, project management, and client leadership. He has over 22 years of architectural design experience. He joins VLK from RMJM in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he worked as a Director focusing on leading large projects with multiple stakeholders, as well as business and staff development. Throughout his career, Laack has expanded market sectors to increase profitability, developed strategic business goals, and mentored design professionals.
While working in the Middle East, Laack also served as a Principal for Stantec MENA in Dubai and a Principal for Stantec India. Prior to working internationally, he gained valuable project management and design experience at firms in the Dallas area including Laguarda.Low Architects, AWA Architects, Humphreys & Partners, and Partners in Architecture.
