VLK Architects Announces New Planning Strategist, Jolie Willis

(Fort Worth, Texas) – VLK Architects is pleased to announce that Jolie Willis has joined the firm as Strategist. Willis brings nearly two decades of experience planning and managing long range plans for Texas public school districts to VLK where she will serve clients across Texas.

During her last 15 years as a strategist, she has written campaign playbooks, supervised bond support consultants, and managed bond campaign information, messaging, and collateral. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Education and English from Baylor University, Willis went on to earn a Master of Mass Communications in Journalism from University of South Carolina.

She has also served the greater Austin community as a Central Texas Food Bank volunteer as well as an officer and chairman of various Austin ISD events and committees. She is the current Secretary and a founding board member of the Manor Schoolhouse Foundation whose mission is to partner with the community to provide resources, maximize innovative practices and support teaching and learning for all students in Manor ISD.

Her service and volunteer experience with various public school districts around Texas, combined with her professional experience as a campaign manager for more than two decades makes Willis an ideal candidate to manage VLK’s planning efforts on behalf of the school districts they serve. As Planning Strategist, she will gather stakeholder input, assess political landscape, collaborate with VLK’s experts on bond strategies and messages that ensure success for public ISD’s across Texas.
